September Newsletter
Hi all! Welcome back! The summer is over and the kids are back in school. Now we finally might have time for ourselves! We have made a few changes to the schedule and added new classes. We have also a new instructor, Cassandra Mays. If you haven’t already met her, she is a great Spin and TRX instructor. She has been in the fitness business for many years and has competed in many triathlons. We are very lucky to have her and I am sure you will enjoy her classes.
NEW CLASSES
Advanced Reformer:
We have added two advanced Reformer classes to the schedule. These classes are strictly for those who are VERY comfortable with the Pilates Reformer and can master the beginner and intermediate levels. Each client must be approved by one of the instructors. The classes will be on Tuesday mornings at 9:30am and Monday afternoons at 4:00. Please call us first or send us an email before you sign up so that we can assess whether you are ready for it or not. These classes begin August 22nd.
Spin classes:
We are also adding two FULL spin classes to the schedule. These will be Mondays at 8:30 am and Wednesdays at 6:15 pm. These classes are interchangeable with your reformer or TRX class packages. If you are not familiar with what group cycling is, it is a 45-minute indoor cycling class that provides a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels. Taking this class will enhance your speed, strength and stamina, improve your overall physical health and increase your caloric burn. These classes will begin the first week of September. Sign up now, there are only 4 bikes!
Stretch Class:
For the month of September, we are adding a 30 minute stretch workshop at 1:00 on Wednesdays. This full body stretch class continues our emphasis on strengthening your core. The workshop focus is on proper body alignment while increasing flexibility, improving balance, activating and toning muscles, and improving ones well being. We will work on breathing techniques and visualization to manage and reduce stress as well as body aches and pain. The cost is $32. If you would like to purchase this package online and add it to your already great workouts, it will be categorized under workshops in the “Buy Classes” tab.
CLASS TIMES:
Beginning the week of Aug 23rd, all of the evening classes will begin a bit later to accommodate people heading back to work and school. Check the times on the schedule.
